Jacob McKee

Jacob McKee (he/him) originally set out to become a professional bass player. Sights changed and he then decided acting and theater was where he wanted to go. Fast forward and then circus came into Jacobs life. A medium that was able to incorporate his music training, vocal training and acting training all in one.

Jacob’s circus life began taking recreational Lyra classes for a little over a year before fully committing his time to train professionally at the Muse in 2019. Since making this commitment, Jacob has traveled both Nationally and Internationally to be coached: most notably Marie-Michelle Faber, Maximiliano Torandell, Nicolas Stocco and Roman Tomanov. Jacob’s approach to Aerial is highly based on theory and how each apparatus can translate and communicate with each other. Having the understanding and familiarity how apparatuses are similar and can move the same is what Jacob believes is key to understanding movements and moments in the air.

What he offers at AANYC: Silks, Lyra, Trapeze, & Hammock Privates/Classes.
