Aimee (she/her) discovered aerial performance while searching for non-traditional workouts, and quickly fell in love with dancing in the air. She has performed lyra, silks, trapeze, and rope at Big Sky Works, Streb SLAM, The Slipper Room, Winkel Studios, the Kymberle Project, The Muse, and of course, Aerial Arts NYC. Aimee has also performed in New York City as an actor, improviser, singer, and musician. You can catch her teaching fitness (Pilates, Barre, HIIT, and more!) at gyms and studios all over New York City (and virtually). She is proud to work with the amazing students at Aerial Arts!

What Students Say About Aimee Lee Gottesman
Aimee is incredibly encouraging, and great at working with students at all levels and abilities. While recovering from an injury, Aimee was always aware of my limitations and showed me how to modify stretches to work safely.Brittany Bushnell
I have been working with Aimee for almost three years. My first class with her was at a different studio and when that place closed, I followed her to Aerial Arts. Sessions with Aimee are always super challenging, fun, and playful. She gives precise and safe instructions and is beyond patient and encouraging!Jennifer Parker
I have been taking Stretch Classes with Aimee for almost a year. Aimee is great at making sure you are well cared for, and she is great with an array of different body types. She has pushed me and allowed me to improve my splits, back-bends, and straddle. Aimee’s class gives me the ability to have better technique in my other aerial classes too. Thanks Aimee for being an amazing mentor and teacher.Alex Robinson
