Ashley Zimmerman (she/her), now a NYC based aerialist, was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received a BA in Dance from Point Park University, where she studied ballet, modern, contemporary and jazz dance styles. After moving to NYC Ashley switched her focus from dance to aerial, and began studying with coaches Mathieu Leopold and Brenna Bradbury. Ashley has performed with Virgin Voyages’ in “It’s a Ship Show!”, Cirque Dreams’ “Holidaze”, New York Circus’ Project’s Fall Cabaret and the 147th edition of Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey. She also had the pleasure of performing in Dubai with Cirque Dreams “Elysion” in 2024. As an aerialist, Ashley specializes in dance trapeze, lyra and aerial straps. In addition to performing, Ashley teaches aerial and fitness classes around Manhattan and Queens.
