Joey (he/him) is an aerialist primarily based in New York City. A lifelong performer, he has always been drawn to bringing concepts to life on stage and creating work that feels both expressive and engaging. With a background in acting and directing, Joey’s approach to aerial is rooted in character, musicality, and storytelling.
Joey began training aerial arts in 2016, inspired by the creative and theatrical possibilities of movement in the air. He loves sharing that knowledge with students while continuing to grow in his own practice, and is known for his positive, energetic, and encouraging teaching style.
He has performed throughout New York City and the Tri-State area at nightlife venues such as The Slipper Room and The Red Pavilion, as well as event spaces including Iron23 and the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.
Joey is also a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, NASM-Certified Nutrition Coach, and AFAA-Certified Group Fitness Instructor.
