Kyla Ernst-Alper

Kyla (she/her) is an aerialist, dancer, and choreographer. At the age of sixteen, Kyla moved to NYC full-time to dance for Eliot Feld’s Ballet Tech. She has since performed with many renowned companies and choreographers in over 15 countries, including Elisa Monte Dance, Battery Dance Company, and Dzul Dance, with whom she first began performing aerial. Kyla was a featured performer in Ziegfeld’s Midnight Frolic, The Burlesque Show at the Borgata in Atlantic City, The Devouring at the Times Square EDITION Hotel, and performed nationally and internationally as one half of aerial duo RAVEN. Her aerial screen credits include High Maintenance (HBO), FBI (CBS), and Younger (TV Land). Kyla was the aerial consultant and choreographer for the 2021 Esteé Lauder Supreme campaign. Kyla frequently collaborates with performance companies Indelible Dance and Encounters. During the COVID lockdown, Kyla established Anver Entertainment to support the NYC circus community with a residency for professional artists in partnership with City Point and Acadia Realty Trust. She currently performs on variety stages and nightclubs, including the legendary Slipper Room and in Eric Schmalenberger’s Blunderland. Kyla is co-producer of The Underground Cabaret.
