Stephanie (she/her) began acrobatics at 3 years old when her mom signed her up for gymnastics at the local YMCA in Medina, Ohio. It was love at first handstand. She went on to compete level 10 gymnastics for Medina Gymnastics Academy and at the collegiate level for West Virginia University.

After 19 years of gymnastics, Stephanie moved to NYC to pursue a career in fashion design but couldn’t stay away from the air. She always had an appreciation of the circus arts and discovered she could be a part of it when she signed up for her first silks class at Aerial Arts NYC in 2014.  She has been balancing her time between fashion design and aerial training & performing ever since. Stephanie specializes in aerial rope and straps and has performed at AANYC, The Muse, Cat’s Eye Cabaret, Let Them Eat Cake and NYC Straps Club.  Gymnastics training still influences her passion for drills, technique and dynamics and loves having the opportunity to share that with the aerial community.

What she offers at Aerial Arts NYC: Aerial Rope, Straps, & Handstands Classes/Privates.
