Troy Lingelbach

Troy (he/him) grew up as a competitive gymnast in San Diego, jealous of the girls for wearing fun leotards and combining their powerful acrobatics with song and dance on the Floor! So once he took his first aerial silk class, he knew he had found his calling. He moved to NYC to attend Marymount Manhattan College, from which he holds a BA in Musical Theatre Performance with Minors in Philosophy and Hispanic Studies. Troy has fused his aerial and dance training as a performer with Company XIV, Chorus Production, The Circus Collective of San Diego, and ABCirque. He has also performed in musical productions aboard the Regent Seven Seas Explorer and at various regional theatres.

As a teacher, Troy loves to motivate and educate to help bring students to the moment of achieving the “impossible” by focusing on improving strength, mobility, and stability on the ground and in the air. He will never get tired of students’ happy dances.

What he offers at Aerial Arts NYC: Silk, Dance Trapeze, Flexibility, and Contortion Classes/Privates.
